Dr. Meredith Orseth is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon.

Awarded a National Merit Scholarship, she attended Arizona State University for her undergraduate education and completed degrees in Finance and Biochemistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She subsequently moved across the country and completed medical school at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. There she was awarded membership to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. 

She completed her medicine internship at the University of Chicago and her dermatology residency at UT Southwestern. Throughout her career she has been awarded the UT Southwestern Star Clinician and David S. Alkek, MD Achievement Award and served as a program liaison to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. 

She went on to complete fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has a special interest in procedural dermatology and has published several articles in the literature highlighting specific techniques for nasal reconstruction following Mohs surgery. 

Passionate about skin cancer prevention and outreach, she has worked with Moncrief Cancer Institute to develop a program to increase screening for skin cancer in rural and underserved communities in the surrounding Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Dr. Orseth is a native North Dakotan, born and raised in Fargo. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her husband, Dan, and especially loves visiting her identical twin sister who lives in San Francisco. 

Dr. Orseth will be seeing patients at Dermatology Associates of Uptown in Cedar Hill.
